Ultimate Croissant Burger

1. Prep the Toppings: Cook bacon until crispy. Sauté sliced onions and jalapeños until softened. Prepare your favorite burger sauce. Set aside all prepared toppings.
2. Smash and Sizzle the Patties: Form ground beef into balls. Heat a griddle or heavy pan to a high temperature. Place the beef balls on the hot griddle and smash them flat with a sturdy spatula. Cook the patties until desired doneness, adding a slice of cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt perfectly.
3. Sweet & Crispy Croissants: Carefully cut croissants in half horizontally. In a separate pan, melt butter and add a drizzle of honey. Place the croissant halves cut-side down in the pan and fry until golden brown and crispy.
4. Assemble your burger: Place a cheesy smash patty on the bottom half of a fried croissant. Top with the cooked bacon, sautéed onions, sautéed jalapeños, and a generous dollop of burger sauce. Cover with the top half of the croissant for the ultimate flavor explosion!
