Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe 🐥🐔

Season chicken breasts. I like using Dan-O’s, but you can opt for a blend of salt, pepper, and a hint of garlic and onion flavors.

Flatten each chicken piece between plastic wrap to about ½ inch thickness with your favorite kitchen tool.

Layer on Swiss cheese and ham, then give them a good roll. Seal them tightly in the wrap.

Allow these rolls to chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to set.

Meanwhile, heat a deep pan with 2 inches (5 cm) of oil to 325°F (170°C).

Crispy coating time! First, dip in flour, then egg, and lastly, breadcrumb coat.

Fry the breaded chicken cordon bleu in the oil for about 5 minutes on each side. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F with a thermometer. If necessary, continue cooking in the oven.

Sauce time! Melt butter and sauté garlic. Mix in flour to get a smooth texture.

Gradually incorporate milk, stirring to achieve a creamy blend.

Add the finishing touches: dijon mustard, grated Parmesan, and a sprinkle of salt & pepper.

Slice and serve with a generous pour of the Dijon sauce.

Now, relish every single bite! 🍴
