Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mushroom Steak Sandwich

1) Melt butter in pan over medium heat.

2) Add mushrooms and cook until golden and brown.

3) Flip mushrooms and continue cooking.

4) Add garlic and cook until soft.

5) Deglaze the pan with wine, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom.

6) When wine has reduced, stir in cream and allow to simmer until desired consistency.

7) Turn off heat and mix in parmesan cheese.

8) Taste and season with salt and pepper to liking.

9) Prepare the steak and caramelized onions separately according to your preferred method.

10) To assemble the sandwich, spread burrata cheese on sourdough bread. Layer with arugula, cooked steak, caramelized onions, the creamy garlic parmesan mushroom sauce, and grated parmesan cheese. Top with another slice of sourdough.
